Amazon Kindle DX (Graphite) Review

One can only imagine more and more innovation coming to the market if someone like Steve Jobs spear head innovation in Apple. Truly Apple has lead this era of innovation in the markets of music, eBook reader and now it is in the tablet. Since Amazon’s launch of tablets, it is being widely accepted as innovation in the market. People are crazy enough to stand in line and buy this amazing product. On the other hand it has added fire to the Research and Development division of other companies – Especially for people in Amazon, this has been a great hit and they had to re-invent their traditional Amazon Kindle product lines. Finally they did and this post is about Amazon’s Kindle DX (Graphite) review.

Capacity of books

Capacity of books is always a factor when it comes to eBook readers. People want to read more and more content and they are looking to hold as many products as possible. This is the very first need of a crazy book reader who wants to switch back and forth with multiple books and is looking for reading as many books in small time frame.

Display

Display is one other problem when it comes to the eBook readers. Most of the readers out there in the market have an artificial look and hence it does not offer the traditional book reading experience. But Kindle DX has a great book reading experience and has the ability to flip horizontally when the reader is turned landscape. This is one of the main features of iPad but still they have incorporated it.

3G

As the world move mobile, 3G is very essential for any eBook and other devices. Here Kindle DX scores a great mark. Giving 3G to the product without having any monthly cost or contracts is amazing. This is one of the reason people try to purchase Amazon’s Kindle DX graphite when compared to any other product.

Cost

When it comes to readers and gadget, the cost play a critical role and here Amazon’s Kindle DX graphite falls short of expectation for few readers. Few people want all these features in low cost price and this is not a product for them. This produce sells at $379 which is just $100 less than that of the WIFI version of iPad. While over a period of time, we believe that this cost may reduce, we aren’t sure about this.
